Ordered pick-up food today. Ox cheeks, as has often been the case, sold out. Then we asked if you could order the salad with spring rolls as a starter, as a half portion. This was initially answered in the negative. Then we were called back a few minutes later, saying that half a portion of salad would do. Then went to pick it up, just got home, the next call: salad missing. So we had to go back, no real apology or compensation. The salad with 4 spring rolls (normal price 15 €) cost us 10 euros. A joke for its size. The rolls weren't crispy and the portion of the salad was a joke. Sauerbraten was a good portion, but the sauce wasn't really as you know it, rather bitter and very strong, but anything but sour. Pumpkin soup with 2 dates for € 9! Unfortunately too liquid, the taste is not as great as presented. Will not order again anytime soon or come by.

We really liked our first visit today - with three people. The taste of the food is excellent (greetings from the kitchen, then a Baden snail cream soup and then the ox cheeks with a vegetable bouquet and homemade spaetzle) The service was very friendly and sensitive despite the demanding guests. Conclusion: unlimited recommendation! UPDATE from July 2nd, 2020: We were there again yesterday - this time with five people on the comfortably designed terrace (turnover 200 EUR). The greeting from the kitchen was deleted this time - but the dishes were again very tasty. The service unfortunately seemed stressed and a little inattentive - so that we e.g. could only order additional drinks with clear gestures. Here the owner should make sure that this does not get out of hand ...

Yesterday we were in the grape and ate very delicious. All dishes were well presented and tasted good. For starters we had Majtes with cucumber and goat's cheese with honey crust. The steak from my husband was buttery. Even with the "smaller portion" of 260 grams, he has become well fed. My spit with peppers sauce was slightly spicy - as ordered. For dessert we had a crème brulée with a scoop of sorbet. The two service staff had a good job, a force had certainly done the ladies good. We'll be back!

The food is first class. That’s out of the question. Great ingredients, wonderfully seasoned, very attractively presented. Unfortunately the service clouded my experience a bit. Very little presence and then unfortunately often inattentive. Although our service was very friendly, they often tried to "upsell" in a very intrusive way. Not everyone had decided on a starter? Asking once is fine. Having to explicitly decline several suggested starters was a bit exhausting. Similar experience with the wine, coffee or dessert. I assume that was meant to be friendly and caring, but it gave me the impression that there was a commission on our order.

Very nice restaurant, very good kitchen. Well-kept drinks menu, the service a bit too quick with clearing the table, not quite finished with the food and it was cleared away.
